Carpentaria welcomes the final report from the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
While it will take some time to review the 222 final recommendations, we have been closely monitoring the interim Royal Commission reports and have progressively implemented some of the suggested initiatives.
The NDIS Review is also due to release its findings this month, and we look forward to reading this report alongside the Royal Commission recommendations and identifying our key focus areas.
We look forward to ongoing sector improvements and greater outcomes for people with disability.
