Carers NT are hosting a Carers Guide to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) on Thursday 5 April.
The information session provides an overview to the scheme, information on how the scheme interfaces with family carers and introduces processes such as testing eligibility, gathering evidence to make an application and pre-planning and planning processes. Supporting material from the NDIS will be provided, along with a firsthand account from a carer living interstate who has navigated their way through the NDIS.
